Only the super early birds will be using it now. Most will be adding themselves into the parking overflow at the Aurora train station now.

And it makes off-hours travel back a lot longer past Aurora.

Seems the previous poster is right, it does amount to a service cut.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6441168213084499367.post-47220125645353342712017-12-15T12:50:20.461-05:002017-12-15T12:50:20.461-05:00I am worried that this service increase will amoun...I am worried that this service increase will amount to a service cut like we saw on the Stouffville line... Any passengers that want to go northbound will be required to transfer to a bus at Aurora. I have been on this bus route before and it takes a very inefficient route plus it's typically late getting out of Aurora. I ride this line quite frequently and they should have done the train service to East Gwillimbury GO and then transfer to the bus since it has a more direct route (takes 80km/h roads instead of 50km/h like the current route) and has adequate station facilities like parking (Aurora is almost always full, not sure how daytime train customers will be able to park now) and a bus loop. On the return, there's a Union departure around 4pm, and the last 2 trips of the day run the full line into Barrie, too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6441168213084499367.post-65792112364238121932017-12-14T13:21:44.446-05:002017-12-14T13:21:44.446-05:00Most of the new trips terminate at Aurora.
