I can appreciate you had a bad day at work but guess what? It's not an exclusive club. It's not population: you. I don't care to listen to you rant and rave on your cell and I'm sure the whole coach didn't need to either!

Or begin to pretend to talk on YOUR cell phone to someone, complaining about a woman on the train who is talking loudly on HER cell phone!
You have to teach people how to treat you!
Maybe you were recognized, like the woman pretending to read a book, and THEY KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING! :-)

My fellow commuters give me more than enough material that I suspect this blog will continue for many, many, many years.
