It's coming!

I'd be lying if I said Halloween candy doesn't interest me. I'm worried. If one thing will lead me down a path of destruction, it will be a pillowcase filled with miniature chocolate bars.

If anything is going to test my willpower, it's going to be that awful night.

Sugar free chocolate has carbs and in large quantity makes you poop like a mofo.

Yay! for cat surgery. That means working from home on the 1st and missing the cheap after-halloween candy sales. My backside thanks me already.

You are doing well if you don't buy in advance and don't buy more than what you need to give out (not much more anyway). We used to start buying it at the end of September and of course would eat our way through one or two boxes before Halloween ever arrived! Your daughter is old enough to keep her stash away from you.

We aren't shelling out because we usually go out as a family so there's that... thank god.

I will tell her to hide it but she thinks hiding means putting it under her bed.

i get the candy either the night before, or if i can swing it, the afternoon of oct 31, we dont get many kids in my neighbourhood anymore, so we dont have to buy much....

Stay strong!! I am in the three week phase of no carbs, no sugar, and not only does Tim's have their pumpkin spice muffins (which I love), but the snack trolley comes by every day for fund raising!

everything in moderation :)

why the no carbs, sugar etc Sylv? as soon as you go back to regular eating you will gain it all back (and probably more). unless you're doing it to discover food sensitivies, it really is a waste of time
