BRING ME ALL YOUR COMPLAINTS!

Hi there Cindy
Far beit for me to tell you how to run things but I find when you mess with your site its super aggrivating. And this whole having to prove I'm not a robot is aqlso annoying. I also noticed that commenting is way down so I'm probably not alone. People don't like having to be forced to do something online.
I can understand why you put no more anonymous commenting but my concern is privacy when you are excpecting people to use personal google acconts which means you can then know who we are and also get access to our internet activuy. This also means strangers can look us up too and I don't want people creeping my facebook or trying to see where I work.
I notyiced when I clicked on your name for eg. I can get to your youtube account and I can watch all your videos. Maybe that's ok for you since you are a public figure but I really value my privacy and I don't want people to just clck on my name and now they know all about me.
Just my 2 cents.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for listening
F

Let me reassure everyone that I am not infringing on anyone's privacy by asking you to sign in to comment. It is up to you to control your online life and manage your privacy settings for all your online accounts. My videos are public because I chose to make them public.
I'm sorry many have found the new rules for commenting inconvenient but don't blame me. Blame the people who can't conduct themselves with maturity and remain disrespectful, rude and abuse the comment section with insults. They forced my hand and ruined it for everyone.
So job well done.

F,
If it's any consolation (and may I politely suggest you turn on auto-correct on your phone/browser) I also am dismayed that it's come to this as I enjoyed commenting freely and anonymously with limited hassle.
But I also recognize I am a guest here and sometimes guests have to adhere to house rules whether we agree with them or not.

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

Create a google account. Swap the name for a nickname and voila! Nothing really changes.

In fact, I am using a google account I created for my work for commenting on this site. I have another one for personal use.

It's no biggie and by doing this, you can limit what access people like CJ has to your personal life. But personally, I like knowing I am not a robot. This has been a hellishly long week so confirmation is good.

You take a lot of crap, CJ, but you've got more fans than foes. Normally we're just quiet lurkers but a post like this is a good reminder that we should send you a little praise now and then.

I use an anonymous Google account that connects to nothing aside from my spam-collecting mailbox. The personal information is all made up and really quite juvenile but hey it's my account and I can do whatever I want. Just like CJ can do here. I never EVER put anything personal on the web about me or my family that could identify us. We don't even use last names in our Facebook accounts. First and middle only.

The day I allow strangers to browse anything about me when I don't want them to will be the day I retire from the Interwebz. At least in any of my social media accounts.

My anonymity is important to me although CJ knows who I are......

Minimal effort, maximum privacy.

I have no qualms about anyone being able to check my online activities, as, aside from my e-mail, they comprise only my blog site along with comments I leave on other sites.
