Portable heat

Sent via text message to 9054420352

Hi there. This lady who got on at Richmond Hill has a portable heater with her and has just spent the past 7 minutes or so walking the coach looking for an outlet. Finally some guy tells her you can't do that and she says the train is too cold. He says dress warmer but there's no way that's safe. Now she's sitting kitty-corner to me yapping into her cellphone how GO needs to provide thermostats in each car and how she'll probably freeze to death before we get to Union. I don't find it that cold but it's strange how people who choose to sit near the doors are the ones complaining. Go sit upstairs then.

sitting near the doors in this weather is only asking for it. i can't believe someone would try to plug in a heater!!!! then again, one night last year, around this time, there were a group of girls on my car who managed to plug in an ipod ghetto blaster and were subjecting us all to christmas carols as sung by top 40 artists.

I'm bringing a hot plate tomorrow - means I can make and east breakfast on the go (on the GO?), allowing me to get up that bit later.

Have her sit by a window - the heater just about scorched my boots last night, and trust me, I would rather be a bit cold!

Those floor heaters are the reason why I sit on outside seats. They burn my calves. It's torture!

The portable microwave is where it's at. You just need to know some of the 21xx and 25xx-numbered cars have the outlets...

portable coffee maker and a service cart could make you a few bucks on the way in.
