Because you didn't believe me ...

Last night I went to the Kenny Chesney concert at the ACC. I had bought only a ticket for myself and because I waited 'til the last minute, I managed to snag a floor seat - 24 rows from the front of the stage for $102 (not that it meant anything once Kenny hit the stage ... seats? What seats?)

I didn't use a scalper. I used ticketmaster.ca. Sometimes they will release tickets hours before a show, primarily single-sell so be prepared to sit alone. PS. Some women have no business wearing Daisy Dukes. I'm just sayin' ...

I met some crazy women in my section on the floor and rode the LSE train home with five of these insane country girls. I mentioned that I had a website where I chronicled GO Train adventures, but there was one who refused to believe I was who I said I was. In fact, she was being somewhat of a b*tch about it. I guess she's met a lot of strangers in her life who've spun a few tall tales here and there.

Well, Cathy? Take **this** and put it in your pipe and smoke it!

Thanks ladies (no, not you Cathy!) for a fun night. Keep reading!

It's not everyday I get to meet an Internet celebrity!

Cathy wasn't really "with" us. She's a co-worker of Liz's. Her attitude is pretty much how she always is and she prides herself on it. I guess this put her in her place! But holy shit you have balls. She tends to get under people's skin. Don't let it bother you. Ha ha!!! But you showed her!!

P.S. You are one of the funniest people I have ever met. Hopefully, we'll see you again!

I wondered why there were a bunch of straw hats in the city yesterday,

And I will say that some girls definately should wear them Daisy Duke's more often.

Sounds like you had fun, CJ.

I'm heading off to Nashville next week. Hoping to see some country celebs down there - but I think most of the big names are out of town on tour. *sigh*

Ron,
Come on ... why not just call me a fame-whore. Don't hold back.

@Bicky - Awesome! I'm jealous.

@Al You got my back, bro! I was afraid to mention there were indeed some hot women in the crowd. You know, because of Ken L. and his issues.

Al said...

No need to be afraid,

Just don't tell us how many you made out with :O

I'm entitled to my opinion and I do find it odd that another woman can find another woman attractive yet be non-gay.

@KenL

Are you for real???? You don't look at a man and say wow! he's ugly or wow! wish I had ripped abs like him! It's not sexual you know. It's about knowing what's pleasing to the eye. It's like me and women who wear too tight dresses and tops so that their back fat looks like they've got a set of boobs on their back. It's gross. But when I see a woman dressed in clothing that fits her perfectly I admire the look. I don't want get her naked.

Kenny Chesney . . . to which I ask, WHY???? ;P

C.J. Smith said...

Don't you dare start making fun of my husband!

lswgirl13 said...

REALLY??? KENNY??? I don't get the attraction but then again, I don't get the whole country thing. But I hope you and Kenny will have many years of happiness together!

And Melanie, you are so right. Women can definitely look at another woman and say she's hot but it doesn't work that way for men. They just can't seem to agree another guy looks good. And NO woman over the age of 25 should EVER wear Daisy Dukes. Come to think of it, under 25 is still pretty skanky.

@lswgirl13

You are > < close to me beating you down with a cowboy boot.

Bicky said...

LOL @ CJ... a beat down with a cowboy boot. I think I'd pay money to see that!

@lswgirl13: I swore when I was a kid that I would never listen to country music as that's what my "old" parents listened to. Now I listen to it and a whole bunch of other types of music. I can't say I'm a fan of all artists but some are just awesome.

Have a super weekend!

I like ALL kinds of music. But Kenny is my lover.

Who is Kenny Chesney? Wasn't he married to Zellweger for a bit, the had a meltdown or something? Yo each their own, but I don't know who the hell this guy is. Has he had a hit?

Bicky said...

@CJ... Nice. Keith Urban is my secret boyfriend. It's so secret, even he doesn't know! ;o)

@kary... Kenny has had mega hits. He just had his 20th #1 hit, Live a Little. He's released 13 studio albums and about 4 greatest hits compilation albums. So he's been around a while.

@kary

you're on the internet, right? sheesh... i didn't know who the guy was either but i had the sense to google him

kary said...

Barb, yes I can google him but I was just making a point. That's what blogs are for. Sheesh yourself.

Barb said...

a point or just being petty?

Dear Mrs. C.J. Chesney - Please accept my apologies and hold on to that cowboy boot BUT I like my men to be manly unlike your lover, what is he, all of 5'5" and 140 pounds??? :p

Did Renee dump him because he "couldn't perform" and I don't mean on the stage? :p

C.J. Smith said...

Oh hells no. You did not just *go* there. Gloves are off now, girlie.

FRED said...

Is this the part where you grow three sizes, turn green and scream, "CJ no like!!!" ?

lswgirl13 said...

I knew that would get your cowboy boots all in a knot!
I seem to remember something about Kenny not understanding what marriage entails! **snicker**
