I have no faith in the online e-load feature for my card after it took more than 72 hours for my card to show the $50 I deposited last Friday.
The whole reason why I got the card was to by-pass the ticket wickets all together.
What do you think? Should I give Presto another chance?

I don't use the e-load feature. I go to the ticket wicket at off times during the month when there is no lineup to load my card. It is immediate and I don't need to wait in the first of the month lines.
I didn't realize if you reload online the amount does not show up right away. This is a key feature that should be added. Tim Horton's does it. Why can't Presto? I am not sure if I am going to swtich from my 10 ride (I only take the train home) to Presto. There seem to be lots of problems with it.
Nooooo, Dont give up!! I do as Anon does, go to the ticket wicket chick-et on off days. It takes only a couple of minutes to add to your card and Presto, you're good to go!
I really like Presto because even if you are sick one day of the month or take a day or two off in any one month, Presto saves you that money. I think its a great way to go and I believe in time they will iron out all the kinks.
Something's obviously Gone Wrong. Give the Presto people a ring or go to a ticket wicket at quiet time.

I think she still has faith in the card just no faith in loading up money online. I say Call Presto, say you suck, then make up, hangup and try your call again.

Welcome to 2011 people where Presto and the future lives. Eventually there will be no paper passes, so get with the program people! You paper pass people have to go to the ticket wicket to buy your pass so why not go the way of Presto? It saves you money in the long run, or do you guys not care about that?
It doesn't save any money in the long run, unless you ride it 40 times and even then I calculate it to be 0.02 more per month. It may save money for the odd time I call in sick or take some vacation, but the savings are meager at best. It is the same price as a monthly pass but costs money to buy the card itself.
you have to ride at least 35 times a month for it to be worth it. however the same goes for a monthly pass. and ok ya if you never take a sick day or the odd holiday day then it wont save you money. you are correct in that respect.
P.S. I got my Presto card for free :)
The reason it takes 24 hours is more to ensure that the credit card used isnt fraudulent.
