Having "doubts" about the number of people carried by UpEx is silly - it's hardly something you can deceive the provincial auditor about...

I guess it's too much for advocacy groups to mention that the fare is much less with Presto.

Advocacy groups - skewing stats and committing lies of omission to further their agenda coming soon to a neighborhood meeting near you....

As I heard one tourist say yesterday while I was at a wicket. I have to pay $6 for the card to save money???

if im a tourist, why should i pay for a card ill never use again potentially, when you get a metrocard in new york, theres no cost to that, they expire after a year i believe, they are essentially disposable when you are done with them, this is something presto needs to do, just load the card up with a minimum amount , and thats that... and go used to do events for students where if you gave them 10 bucks they waived the card fee, so its possible....

I think the $6 charge is stupid, but my point about that group stands. The price is not necessarily what they say. A lie of omission.
