How about you stick your suitcase in the aisle?

According to @Norms_Brain on Twitter, this woman boarded at Oakville (LSW). She swung her big pink suitcase into a quad with her.

When the train became crowded, she swung her big suitcase in front of her (sitting near the window! The hell!) forcing a man to sit awkwardly in the quad and preventing other people from sitting in the seat opposite of her.

Honest to God.

Here's how it works, you donkeys.

You sit in an aisle seat and you move your suitcase to the side of you and if it's in the way of people boarding, you stand up, put your suitcase on the seat and let people by and then you resume position.

No wonder people suffer from GO rage. What happened to courtesy and common sense?!

More incredibly, no one said anything to this woman. Man, if I'd been on that train, I'd be playing little Miss Bitch Conductor.

Actually, if they can:

A) ride the accessibility car or
B) take the 2 seater or the 3 seater and keep the damn thing in front of you.

Because doing it the way you stated, you KNOW the people aren't going to do that. Plus, they block the aisle for those who want to switch cars or go stand at the doors 3 stops early.

If I knew how to send pics off my ancient cell phone, I'd have zapped a pic of the donkey this morning who did the exact same thing at Whitby. No one could sit in the quad with him (upstairs) as it was the scrunched up one to begin with and he had all his crap around him. I was shocked when he went upstairs. Figured he would take a seat near the doors. He's one of those self-important turds. He's cut in front of the line getting on the train many mornings.

To hell with converting toilets to food stalls, here's what they need to spend money on:

1. Install more handrails, especially horizontal ones that run along the ceiling in the aisles.

2. Install luggage racks above seats.

3. Install cameras so the ambassador in the middle of the train can investigate things happening at other ends. (optional)

Disagree with #2. Only because I know I will be winged in the head by people who can't lift their own suitcase and/or didn't put it all the way in the rack and therefore it falls down, goes boom.

If they want to install the racks, then put them as "fold down" and place in the extra roomy bicycle spot that is on some cars. That way, the space isn't wasted.

@Harith - I love #3!!! There actually should be a security camera on every car especially when the trains are running late at night.

I feel bad for the guy sitting opposite her. I swear, some people have absolutely NO common sense. I had a beanpole of a guy sitting next to me last night (on the aisle). He had to be 6'5". He decided to sit kinda sideways, got comfy and fell asleep with his arm/elbow a half foot onto my side! GRRRRRR, do not encroach my personal bubble!
