GO in the snow

How was it today?

I'm particularly interested in hearing from the bus crowd.

A lot of "brake for snowflakes"?

coming in from aurora was ridiculous. our driver was good, it was the other people driving. people just driving like idiots and spinning out. some people need to take lessons.

Bus was 10 minutes late this AM, not so bad...not sure what the fuss was though, at 6.20 this AM the ground was just wet.

Does it matter? GO can never figure out how to go in the snow despite being on rails for 40 years. I expect to be late for work all winter and I really enjoy it when trains are cancelled after I bust a nut to get to the station. The only way GO will ever get it together is to send smoke signals from the station.

it took 2h to get to Mississauga this morning and almost as long to return. it did not help that the crews changed thia morning and drivers were disoriented and unsure of their route.

it's going to be a long, cold winter.

Go buses are built bricks... if there's a spun-out car blocking the lane, they should just nudge it out the way.
