Looks like it's hung up on the curb. If so that car is going nowhere without some major help.

what a tool, probably not going to get away without some damage too.

Just need a jack and some wood, no major work or help required.

ouch, poor car.

Maybe it is just me, but I would have kept driving, just so the car wouldn't hang there all day like that. As a bonus, the forward momentum would have helped the back to scale that mountain.

That being said: How the hell does this even happen? How fast and/or oblivious do you have to be to NOT feel the wheels hit something?

My money is on the person wearing winter boots. Went to hit the brake but accidentally hit the gas. Then, realized, panicked, hit the brake and....there ya have it.

Rule #1 of winter driving is not wearing boots.

This is a perfect example of people who should be forced out of their cars and using public transit (i.e in this case using DRT to get to Pickering GO instead of the car)

@ Anon 9.10pm:

Plus, it is only 65¢ each way!

And as a side bonus, for me, I actually get home faster than when I do drive to the station.

Is that....a curb?

No, its just a speed bump, apparently.
