The first day ... of many more

I'm sure you've been refreshing the site all day just dying from anticipation of what tales I will spin from this morning's GO Bus ride.

Sadly, I have no tales. I can tell you that it is inhumane for any person to willingly wake up at 5:30 am. It's an ungodly hour. It stinks.

Plus, waking up a six year old deep in slumber at five minutes to six led to a meltdown I didn't know my daughter was capable of. She's generally a content, easy-going kid but she's also used to sleeping to 6:45 am and has been for the past three years. It's an adjustment for all of us. I practically dragged her to the bathroom where she sat on the toilet wailing and telling both my husband and I that she "wanted to sleep for a little bit more... PLEASE!!!" punctuated with sobs.

Broke my heart. Well, not really. But I feel her pain.

Other than this dude sanitizing his hands after every page turn of his free commuter newspaper, which was getting on my nerves because I hate the smell of Purell and every dollar store/drugstore knock-off, the bus ride was fine. Let's see how next week is when the college kids return to school.

They see me rollin... '

Aw, poor little thing. Tell her Aunty GTB sends hugs and kisses to make it all better.

Love the OCD guy. I just laugh at those people. They're always the ones who get sick because they haven't let their bodies build immunity.
