The hell? Blonde woman uses blowdryer on Barrie train and no one cares

Fast forward to 20:34 of this episode of Breakfast Television (BT) to watch this f*ckery go down.
BT doesn't allow for embedding because they have to make you watch the same ad 40 gazillion times while you try to zip through a show.

Why is this not on YouTube?

If I remember correctly, it was on Youtube. Because I saw it there and went WTH?!?!

Here's my take on it.
It's fake. The guy who filmed it staged the whole thing, didn't think BT would air it and got cold feet in the event someone would call him out on it.

Otherwise who cares? I've got videos of train people on my YouTube channel where you can make out faces, etc. but I stand behind the f*ckery I see. I don't need to make stuff up.

There's no way that was legit. People are tolerant but having hot air blown in my face by some chick whipping her hair back and forth? Nay Nay! I'd be out of there.

WTH??? Squiggles, that deserves a WTF??? Geez, I won't worry about putting lipstick on anymore. What kind of a person does something like that??? Get your lazy ass up 20 minutes earlier!!!

Welcome to the Barrie Line - this is normal action on those trains

@lswgirl: not a big swearer. In fact, the worse thing I tend to say is "mother tucker".

But I agree with everyone who says to wake up a few minutes earlier. In fact, before the platform (and therefore the cars) got all messed around, there was a woman who got on a Rouge Hill. Proud of the fact that they hold the doors for her 98% of the time. And she boots it from a parking lot and once she, all out of breath finds a seat and pants all over the person across from her (normally me) proceeds to put on her jewellery. These people NEVER realise that you need to wake up 5 mins earlier. Or leave 5 mins earlier.

I find that video totally credible, particularly as I had a similar experience which I shared in a previous post. This was my comment:

A guy got on the train in the summer with an electric fan. He set it on the table, plugged it in and turned it on. He kept exclaiming "It's going to be a hot one!" As the fan oscillated, it was rustling everyone's newspapers. A lot of looks were exchanged but not a single person said anything.

I had an interesting expereince on the 5:34 LSW last night. One fellow started watching I think a pre-recorded hockey game on his tablet without head phones.

It started off uncomfortably loud, (I was in the quad across the aisle). I was about to ask him to lower the volume, but he quickly did so on his own. At this point I was a bit annoyed, but decided to compare the sound to the people talking next to me. The 'live' noise was definietly louder than the tablet so I let it go.

Thoughts?

Seems legit to me. Yesterday I was in the window seat of the mid-level 3-seater, and some broad got on the train at Etobicoke North (I think...I wasn’t really paying attention), sat in the seat perpendicular to mine, and proceeded to go all William Wallace right in front of me. The war paint was coming out, and there was no stopping this woman. Cover up, eye make up, lipstick...you name it. I wasn’t really disgusted so much as I was uncomfortably glued to this whole procedure, only because it’s NOT something you should generally do on a train.

There was also an episode years ago where a woman got on the train and did something similar, but included perfume and some brand of white flaky antiperspirant (yep, she was unashamed to wave her pits to everyone within view) which annoyingly flaked off the stick and onto my black slacks.

@Skin Man - Too bad you didn't know the final score of the game and spoiled it for him.

And Matt - I'm with you. Lipstick is one thing but I've seen the full-on make-up treatment before as well. I swear I wanna see a chick lose an eye with her mascara wand.

This is on youtube. The guy was all over twitter about it (@JohnMcBeth). He tried to get the attention of BT and Ellen....looks like BT took the bait.

I'm with CJ. This looks staged and was meant to get attention. And it worked. When do we learn it's a Revlon promotion?
Anyone remember the bride who starts cutting off her hair the day of her wedding because of a bad salon job in a viral video where it turns out it was to drum up publicity for a hair care product?
There's no way anyone would tolerate blow drying.
