Is this true?! Or is someone trolling footriders?

I wish they would hand out fines for putting feet on the seats. That would either a) generate a boat-load of dollars for transit improvements; or b) leave us GO riders with much cleaner seats!

Oh Dear, Sweet Baby Jesus, please let this be true!

I will even kick in a couple bucks to reward these people for actually doing something they are supposed to be doing. Which they never do. Even though they hit up my morning train 2 times this week for a fare check.

Fare check is what they are used to, trained in , and comfortable with. Checking buttsuckers, foot riders and door donkeys - notsomuch.

What are "buttsuckers"?

Nic Freaks who cropdust their poison, particularly in no-smoking zones of Go stations and bus stops. They suck butts and blow.

Given the apparel of this rider, I'd say they're 'One of the Entitled Generation'.

As it stands right now, in order to prosecute these people for placing their feet on the seats (it is an offence under the Metrolinx bylaw), a summons to court must be issued. Then, the officer must be prepared to tell the judge why everyone is in court that day....so unless there is more than the typical "its rude" no charge will be laid. Maybe if the seat was made unusable due to mud/snow etc, then it would be more reasonable.

Lets hope a change is made and it becomes a fine that can be laid, and then hopefully it will be issued more often :)
