My favourite backyard is the one with the weeds growing out of the above ground swimming pool. Oh yes, there's a photo.
In fact, it shocks me that no one has submitted a photo of some of these landscaping nightmares to GO's Facebook Gallery entitled, Views from the Train
It's too dark to see the yards during the evening express trains but pay attention tomorrow morning. It's pretty insane what people have in them.
Imma set my BlackBerry to record this hot mess for y'all tomorrow. Kay?

The Georgetown corridor isn't quite as bad as I'm sure others have noticed on other lines. I think we should also include shady warehouses and 'mom and pop' style shops. Especially in the Malton area. Ick. Coming Soon: Multiple Homicides!
Those plazas around Airport and Derry in Malton seem quite sketchy.
My next door neighbour filled in their inground pool. Left the concrete deck surrounding it. Weeds waist high grow in it every summer. What an eyesore!
I would provide a picture, but my camera REALLY sucks on my phone, and the chances of a useable picture on THAT phone taken from a moving train are somewhere between zero and Ya-right.
As a Georgetown rider for the better part of 15 years, I can confirm that there are yards in the Weston area which must be owned by Amazon adventurers. Some of the growth in their yards is astonishing. Nevermind “mowing” the lawn; break out the machete. It’s like these people never look out their back window. Fellow GT’ers, pay particular attention to the south side of the tracks.
