Next station stop, Oshawa

Rob emailed me today ecstatic that he finally found someone other than his mom to share this YouTube video with of a fight that happened on an LSE GO train back in March of 2008.

Rob writes:
I read about your Oshawa experience with the Ex people and I have to say that sadly it is usually the Oshawa people who create problems on the train or just show a whole bunch of ignorance.

On March 16th, 2008, I was returning from Toronto with my sister after attending the Iron Maiden concert at the ACC. A fight broke out between two girls. There were half a dozen people filming the fight and I found a copy on YouTube days later. There is strong language and lot of screaming so you may want to mute or lower the volume on your speakers.

Oshawa ghetto folk give those of us who live here a bad name.

That has to be the most pixilated cat fight I have ever viewed.

They should take it to the accessibility car, there's more room on the bottom floor for a proper fight.

disgusting behaviour....

I think the fact they were from Oshawa is somewhat tempered by the fact it was an Iron Maiden concert...I didn't see any behaviour like that returning from the Michael Buble concert.

Funny, I was originally going to preface this post with the remark that the key words here are 'Iron Maiden'

I used to attend Iron Maiden concerts (and Guns N Roses!) and never behaved that way. Of course I don't live in Oshawa! ;o)

Way to stay classy girls! And while I'm sure the 'Shwa has some nice girls, any of the ones I've met still have one foot in the trailer park.
There'd be no fights after a Michael Buble concert because the people have been lured into a catatonic state!

did anyone push the emergency strip, instead of video taping it for u-tube?

I can't say I've ever seen a fight on the TTC.

@anon 11:27 - I was thinking the same thing! Wonderful society we live in now that someone would probably rather tape a murder instead of calling 911!

It's so disturbing to see and hear everyone cheering on the fight instead of trying to break it up. Why is violence is acceptable? Shame on all of you for behaving so badly!

e,
Not long after the emergency strip was pushed. Don't presume. Sometimes people wait to see if things will simmer down. In this case, the fight had been moving from coach to coach. Don't act like no one cares. You weren't there so how would you know and besides, this wasn't part of the story. It was the fact these hooligans were from Oshawa and ruining it for others who can behave themselves when coming back from a concert on the go train.

We live in a "youtube" society.
